We professionally restore antique American made steamer trunks. We have been restoring trunks since 2003. To date we have restored over 60 trunks. Many from 1820 up to the early 1920’s.

 

 We specialize in expert restoration and the sale of high quality Old Trunks, Antique Trunks and Chests. We carry a wide variety of antique "steamer" trunks, many of which are very difficult styles to find now. Our selection will usually include rare early Civil War Half Trunks, Humpback, Camelback and Round Top Trunks, as well as Steamer Trunks, and Flat Top Trunks. There are so many types that were made, that we are always coming across one we haven't seen before. 

We try offer a variety of beautiful, functional, and affordable trunks you will be proud to display and use in your home, or to give as a cherished gift! Some are truly one of a kind and each one is in some way unique. Our expert repairing, refinishing, are certainly of the highest standards.

We take special care to maintain and preserve the historical authenticity of each trunk as much as possible during the restoration or refinishing process. We use only the finest finishers, stains and Tung oils, which preserve the wood & allows it to breath. No polyerathane, bleaches or paint stripper are use on any of these unique pieces of American history.

 All of our trunks are guaranteed to be 80 years or older

 and we do not sell or restore any reproductions.

Have a trunk, chest, padlock, cabinet or any other antique lock that’s missing its key? We have a large and wide range of  antique, vintage keys in our inventory. We can help you locate the lock manufacturer & the key code from most trunk latches / locks. There are just as many different types of trunk keys as there are trunks.

We carry antique flat keys, hollow barrel & 4, 6, 8 Lever keys.
