This one is the rare "beveled top" design used by some early trunk makers. Notice the historically accurate detail of this trunk down to the handmade leather handles and solid brass trim pieces! The antique trunk parts include a solid brass Excelsior lock with key, brass slat clamps (not painted), heavy number 4 front latches, special stop-hinges, and other old hardware produce the authentic antique look and appeal of this Captain's trunk.
